The TunnelCraft 3 Air Flow Monitor (AFM-S) is CODEL’s industry proven tunnel air flow monitor.Tunnel ventilation systems are designed to enable a sufficient throughput of air to be maintained to ensure a safe operating environment. These systems consume large amounts of power and need to be operated as efficiently as
possible. To do this it is necessary to know the effectiveness of the system in terms of air flow and direction developed within the tunnel.

Key Featuresafm-s_web

The Air Flow Monitor (AFM) uses ultrasonic technology to measure air velocity. A single transmitter and an array of four receivers are contained in the measuring head.

Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is fast becoming the most important measurement in tunnels and will eventually replace nitric oxide (NO) as the key measurement.

The TunnelMaster Cold Smoke Monitor (CSM), is an essential part of any road (or rail) tunnel safety system, the CODEL CSM detects smoke from a fire rapidly to warn the operator of the hazard.
